How To Spark Your Zeal When Abundance Feels Out of Reach

Today, I want to honor someone who embodies resilience and grit, shows up consistently, and inspires every day:Lewis Howespodcast host, keynote speaker, and a New York Times best-selling author.

Earlier this year, Lewis celebrated 12 years of pouring his heart and soul into his podcast, The School of Greatness, which has now surpassed 1,700 episodes and touched millions worldwide. 🌍 And most recently, on March 18th, he released his latest book, Make Money Easy: Create Financial Freedom and Live a Richer Life (published by Hay House). 📖

Over the years, Lewis has openly shared his journey—from growing up in poverty and facing adversity to transforming his life through mindset shifts, personal growth, and strategic action. His story of going from being broke and sleeping on his sister’s couch to becoming a multimillionaire entrepreneur is truly inspiring. And, hearing about his experiences has often led me to reflect on my own relationship with money.

For me, money is more than just currency or a necessary part of life; it is energy—flowing in alignment with my beliefs, actions, and self-worth. 💸⚡ I see it as a tool that supports me, creating opportunities, fueling my growth, and allowing me to contribute to the world in meaningful ways. Healing my relationship with money took deep inner work, but over time, I began to understand how it responds to my mindset. The more I shifted from scarcity to abundance, the more prosperity flowed into my life. ✨💫

Yet, as I reflect on his journey, I sometimes can't help but admit there are moments when I've compared myself to him. Moments where I've thought, "Why am I not there yet? Why isn't my impact as far-reaching?"

But when I look at the timeline of his success—12 years of unwavering commitment—it's a powerful reminder that Rome wasn’t built in a day. 🏛️

We often see the highlight reels of others' lives, but what we don't see are:
🌱 The years of persistence
😓 The moments of doubt
💪 The relentless work it takes to build something truly impactful.

So, this is my reminder to myself—and maybe to you, too: Greatness isn’t about instant wins. It’s about showing up, planting seeds, and trusting that, in time, the fruits of our labor will bloom.

To Lewis: Thank you for being an inspiration, sharing your authentic story, and reminding us of what’s possible when we stay the course.💫

To everyone reading this: Let’s give ourselves grace on this journey. Celebrate the small wins, honor the struggles, and keep going. Because the best things in life take time, grit, and unwavering belief. 💖

ZEAL AFFIRMATION

“Every step I take moves me closer to my vision. Today, I will celebrate my progress and greatness.”

This affirmation is a powerful anchor for anyone striving towards a vision, reminding us that every effort, no matter how small, brings us closer to our dreams. In moments of doubt or impatience, it shifts our focus from what’s missing to what’s already unfolding. By celebrating progress, we acknowledge our commitment, resilience, and growth, reinforcing the belief that we already embody greatness. Success isn’t a quick destination—it’s a lifelong journey shaped by the lessons we learn, the resilience we build, and the energy we bring to each step. When we recognize our own greatness along the way, we move forward with confidence, joy, and unwavering faith in what’s possible.
